There may not be much activity at first since most of the existing forum appraisers apparently are residential. But what it might do is attract a new bunch of commercial appraisers. I can get the word out in my circle of commercial appraisers and my AI chapter. I created a Yahoo group message board for our chapter (100 members) and it hasn't gotten much use. I know there is a much larger message board for AI candidates (primarily questions regarding designation process) that I could inform of this board as well, once you officially launch it.

Thanks Paul!

Give us a while to test this software and make sure we are going to use it first.

I think one reason the commercial appraisers weren't interested much was because they had to wade through all the residential stuff to get to the tiny bit of commercial discussion there was and it just wan't worth their time.

However with a separate forum, maybe!

Thanks for your help!

:D I'm thrilled at Wayne's New Site! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK WAYNE!! I had previously thought that We Commercial Appraisers needed a seperate site to utilize.

NEED HELP! I am in need of Hospital Comparables in the Upper Midwest. Also, I am in need of Rural (Small Town) Grocery Stores in the Upper Midwest (North Dakota, Montana,Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska)

Any Help Is Appreciated!

Should I also include Farm and Ranch in this category? Or is that too far removed from Commercial/Industrial? I don't think we would have enough Farm/Ranch posts to merit a forum of it's own (we may not have any, but I would like to include everyone if possible)

I don't think it's necessary to create a separate forum for this specialty. Since appraisers doing this type of work must be general certified (at least in PA) include it in the commercial forum.

PS - After having used this new format for a while, I'm finding it a bit cumbersome. I guess it'll take a while to get used to it. :?

You have only posted 4 messages, wait until you have posted 20 or 30 and you will get used to it.

Be sure you have "log me in automatically" checked when you log in and you will never have to log in again (unless you delete cookies in your computer).
