I like this appraisal engagement letter

Just got an assignement from a Washington mortgage
broker....

My favorite lines in the engagement letter are:

"You are instructed to base your opinion of market value solely on your own analysis without influence from interested parties."

"If anyone involved in this real estate transaction, whose compensation may be contingent on the results of your analysis (including, but not limited to, any loan personenel, borrower, purchaser, seller, selling real estate agent, listing real estate agent, etc.) attempts to influence your conclusion of value in any way, this must be acknowledged and addressed in the appraisal report."

Plus, I'm suppose to attach a copy of the engagement letter to the report.

I like it....I might include those lines in an appraisal assignment
acceptance letter that I send the flakier loan people
out there.
