Calling Illinois Appraisers

I'm FHA approved, and hold a 154 license in Illinois, do I need a higher level of state license to do FHA work in Illinois. I'm also a licensed residential appraiser in Indiana and do FHA work there, but I seem to recall that I needed to become a certified residential appraiser to do FHA appraisals in Illinois.

Kevin,

I think that FHA/HUD is being pushed to remove all appraisers that are not 'Certified'. I'll see if I can find the links to the recent articles regarding this.
