Any users of Nova having problems importing older files what had the JUD forms attached?

I have used Day from 1987 until 2 months ago when I changed to NOVA. I am curious--what is a JUD file? I checked my Day One files for the past year and there is a single JUD file?

I am having a problem with importing a SRIP--but the programmers are supposed to be working with that.

My other probelm right now is needing to change the expiration date for my electronic signature, but haven't gotten a soluttion.

Otherwise, the transition for me to change from the 16 bit Day One to the 32 bit Nova has worked a lot smoother than I expected and I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Even getting brave enough to make some changes without calling tech support.

Sorry.. that's a typo. It is the HUD VC sheets. When I import an older .pak file that was an FHA the HUD sheets become the report type and the URAR is gone. (yes it is listed as an attachment but there is no way to access it). When checking files there is no .nua shown.

George:
I just copied a HUD report from Day One to Nova and everything transferred over--including photos, VC, HBS. But I used the copy choice, not the PAK. Maybe that is the solution. If your Day One file is a PAK, change it back to a standard NUA, then copy that NUA to Nova. I haven't used the PAK function since I got my Zip drive, now to save files I go to Windows Explorer, highlight everything in one category since the last copy date to copy, then paste to my zip disc. One disc holds about one year of reports, complete with photos, maps, attachments, etc. The Nova does have an improvement over the Day One in one respect, Nova copies the everything with the report in one copy; Day One I had to copy the report from Data, and then also copy photos, attachments, etc from Image.

I have been using Nova since it was first offered and day1 forms before that. It took a good while for them to get the Nova forms to work properly. I have tried other software but Nova is the best fit for me. You can change the License expiration date from within the signature program. You have to sign in, choose edit users and then change the expiration signature from there and save. Make sure that you don't have an older expiration date in the template for any forms as this may over ride. I have imported HUD data without any issues. Do any of you use the palm forms or a laptop? I had a bad experience with a palm m505 and had to return it. I am considering getting the treo from handspring.

Hope this helps. :P
