Belatedly, I found this decision interesting. As appraisers we can be viewed as having a technical advantage over non-professionals.

Also, administrators of estates open themselves up to suit from the heirs for making a bad decision. That's time for hiring the pro, or evoking a "favored nations clause"

Interesting. While an Arkansas decision, it could apply not only to appraisers but professional investors, flippers, etc.
