I think the important matter should be addressed ASAP...in fact, I was thinking of putting it in the Urgent section.

Can't say because I don't roll that way. Plus the old Mr. Met was recently accosted by a drunken fan who probably thought he can have his way with Mr. Met. So he's probably not looking too good.

I'll tell you one thing though, if your are looking for a Ms. Met, Ms. Janet will do nicely. :)

I have to say it's undeniable that the old Mr. Met was much better looking. That new one seems so scruffy.

LOL!

"No" is in the lead, with "WTF?" a close second.:)

BTW, I'm so traumatized by that pic that I now wear contacts!

David, baseball is a ruined sport......however softball is a true sport.

At least you aren't a Yankees fan. That gives you a point.

I did not mean to invade your New York thread.....Iowa boys most likely do not belong here. My parents both grew up in Queens. My grandmother lived one block off of Flatbush Avenue, about 2 miles from Kings Plaza and we visited every year.

My other grandmother lived and died for the Mets as did my great aunt.

In 1988 I took my soon-to-be wife to visit NY and she wanted to pull over and get gas....in the Bronx. At the time she also asked me for 25 cents to buy a Pepsi in Grand Central Station.....she was truly an Iowa girl. I gave here $2.

Your city never sleeps.....
