Just did an inspection for an appraisal for a refinance. Homeowner has another property he wants to list and asked me to appraise it for him. Just wondering if this is an issue with my present client, his lender. Any thoughts?

Give him a business card and tell him to call you next week.

Now leave you alone; you have a job to do.

Do not see why. Different client, different property, different use, different user.

no problem, finish this first though before he engages you for a new order...of course if he does not "like" this refinance value you'll never hear from him again!

I've gotten a lot of private work from doing other properties. All good responses so far. Finish your assignment at hand. If the current borrower wants to contact you in the future for a different property - that's a new assignment, new client, new, etc ...

Side note: if you do it for private purposes (i.e. potential marketing purposes) I'd suggest using a GPAR
