Ok, maybe just for me..Received the email that Arizona just dropped the requirement that only 75% of continuing ed could be online. I know some states have been able to solely be online for quite a while. We have always been required to take the 8 hour USPAP in person. It was my longest day every two years and I dreaded it...Not anymore :) No more listening to one of about 3 different instructors(Joanna, Roy or the other guy) who try their hardest to keep it ok but if you are a solo, stay at home worker like most of us, that one day stuck in a classroom always felt like jail to me. I'm a free bird, let me fly...or either do appraisals or enjoy myself but I cant sit and listen anymore. Thank you AZ. I had been hoping for years.

you must be special. i didn't get an email...

Well I am special, think it came from one of the associations.

"Here is a brief description of the changes that could affect a course provider and student:

1. Language limiting a student from taking more than 75% of their education hours online has been removed.

· A student may take 100% of their qualifying and continuing education online.

2. Language stating the 7hr or 15 hr USPAP course must be completed in a classroom has been removed.

· An online USPAP course will now be accepted.

3. Language stating a course can only be renewed one time after initial application has been removed.

· A course can now be renewed more than once.

4. Language requiring a continuing education course to be at least three (3 ) hours has been removed.

· A two (2) hours course can now be approved.
