After a long hiatus from fee work, (8 months), I have just signed on with AppraiserUSA.com!!

Since I have done no other form of advertising, I will be sure to know that any lead will be generated from Wayne's little venture...

I will be sure to post here everytime I get a lead so that it will pop up on the new post list to remind everyone how well it does/doesn't work for me.

Now, South Carolina isn't a hotbed of Appraisal activity, so it may take a while for any results to show, but I hope it will bring me at least one or two a month.(week, day?)

So wish me luck.:ph34r:

You don't need luck. You will get emails and phone calls. And, you will be able to turn some of those into paying orders.

I am happy with it. I recommend it.

Just processed two orders via email. Both from same client, both in town, and not obscure properties. One actually in my neigborhood!!

I will let you guys know how things go as far as payment, and what not.

Thanks Wayne!!

Just opened mailbox to find payment for both orders prior to delivery.

THANKS WAYNE!!

I am going to keep this going for a month or two to truly document how well the service works. Hopefully this can become a sticky on the site.

So far:

Cost= Zero

Revenue= 600.00.

Time= 2 Weeks

The only results I've had since I signed up was requests for comp checks by email. Still waiting for a job to come through.

I buy the top positions in my area, and get 3-4 calls a week due to the listing. Some are shopping for a value, but most turn into real orders.

You have the option to have your listing state:
"Free comp checks are not provided. There is a fee for all professional services rendered."

It will drastically change the number of comp check demands you receive.

I never refer to appraisers listed there without that.

Or, you can leave it blank and for the email and faxes you get for comp checks that have a value target, turn them in to http://www.mortgagefraudwatchlist.org.

Since I have done that, I am not getting comp check requests.

For people who call and ask if I do comp checks, I explain that I don't but maybe I can help them with their appraisal needs. If it is just finding a value to make the loan work, it is good bye.
