Keep the shields up, Scotty!

In the old Star Trek television series, Captain Kirk was often heard telling Mr. Scott to keep the shields up to protect the Enterprise. I am lucky I had my shields up last week - I received no fewer than nineteen (Yeah - 19) different e-mails containing viruses. Norton caught each of them, and all is well.

Another indicator that many people had too much time on their hands last week, I received a spam message advertising a first mortgage at specified terms, and offering to refinance my "horse" at the lowest rates in years. How would like to provide appraisal services for that outfit?

actually there is a equine appraiser organization. Don't recall its name.

I have been getting viruses claiming to be fixes to a virus, some come thru the NAIFA site where I used to have an email address when I was a member of NAIFA.
