Batteries leaked into the device for some reason, and now it no longer turns on. I had just put in new batteries a few days prior to this, so old batteries is not the reason. Has this happen to anyone here and is it possible to fix it? I would hate to put down another $200+.

My wife and sister both have one. The batteries will not last long and they have to replace them often. I have the big model with all of the features.
