We are a local real estate appraisal group located in North Houston in need of one (possibly two) licensed or certified appraisers. A large bulk of our work is investment properties. These properties are typically in poor condition and can sometimes require a strong stomach (pet odor, vacant for a long time, flood house etc). The nice thing is these are lender direct clients that we have established strong relationships with and provide us a steady stream of work with established fees. No more bidding on mass email jobs.

We cover Harris, Montgomery, and Ft Bend County.

Basic Requirements:
  • Must be licensed or certified to appraise residential property in the state of Texas with TALCB
  • Have or willing to obtain E&O insurance
  • Comfortable doing investment properties
  • Comfortable using or willing to learn new technology to improve efficiency (tablet, data entry software, laser tape measure etc)
  • This is a remote position so you will also need your own reliable transportation and a home computer with internet connection
At this time we are not currently seeking Appraiser Trainees.

Job Type: Commission, 1099 position. Great if you are trying to supplement your current income or work full time.
