I need help in the use of an HP 12C. Can anyone help me with the keystrokes for using Linear Regression?

Thanks in advance for the help.

pg 87 is the keystrokes to input 2 variable statistical data. Pg. 91 is linear estimation. In two variable input, key Y into display, press ENTER, key x into display Press the SUM+ key (below the 3)

Reg 1 - # pf data pairs
Reg 2 - sum of X
Reg 3 - sum of squares of x values
Reg 4 - sum of Y values
Reg 5 - sum of squares of Y values
Reg 6 - Sum of products of x and y values

Once accumulated pairs

Key in a new X value and press blue g key and y,r key (the 2 key)
to calculate a new y

Key in a new y value and press blue g key and x,r key (the 1 key)
to calculate a new x

Reliability is dependent upon how closely the data pairs would, if plotted on a graph, lie in a straight line. That correlation cofficent can be calculated automatically and is displaced by the x> <y key (above STO)
