Jonathan and I are not totally in agreement because of at least two factors:

"Public Trust"

And

"Market value".

That just deals with his response to one of his posters or people questioning him. Jonathon is selling things other than appraisals. That's it.

In an appraisal of market value, does it really matter who the client is? Scope of work maybe, But He's playing and playing with what got us where we are when it comes to public trust.

Aaarrrrggg! 2014.

I agree that residential appraisers need strong representation. It doesn't need Joan Tice or some AMC rep telling some Congressional Committee there is a shortage of appraisers and we need less educated, less experienced trainees.

You really should have listened or read my testimony. For quite some time I have said that in general there is no shortage. Based upon UCDP data on average an appraiser submitted 2.8 appraisals per week to UCDP. Does that sound like an overload to you?

No, because many of us are also doing private appraisals/non GSE/UCDP appraisals.
