I tried using the non online CD version, but when I discovered a glitch in it I decided to send it back. I'll stick to the book for now. The glitch I refer to is that it would not calculate garage value if you said it had a finished interior. The glitch was confermed by alamode, and M&S. So, I thought, if they can't nail down a little calculation like that, I wonder what else is messed up. Besides, with some of the unique properties I work on, there are times when I need to do much more customizing that is easier to do with the book and paper.

Another thing I did not like about the CD is that, it took my brain out of the equation. I'd hate to stand before a judge, or group of peers and say, I don't know why I have this for the cost approach, the computer gave me that value. wouldn't like that one bit.

Book, paper, and brain for me
