Someone should submit a lesson plan to the state of CA and get 3-6 house credit approval for a seminar and incorporate a meeting with credits. Here in MA we have the MBREA, the oldest private appraisal organization in the country. They do both breakfast and dinner seminars with credits. Annual dues are $250, seminars with 3-6 hour credits are under $100. The MBREA is a popular organization here in the Northeast. MBREA.org

Mr. Clark: I'll start to work on the logistics ASAP. I am unaware of any realtor-based appraisal entity in CA. I imagine it would be prudent to contact OREA although this might be beyond the scope of its resources or scope. Might the local HUD chapter be involved? Lotsa questions and I'll try to coalesce my thoughts as quickly as possible.

Kevin: Thanks for the advice. I'll give them a call ASAP.
