Microsoft Streets and Trips 2001

Hi,

I use streets and trips often and yesterday I tried to start the program and it says:

"the application is unable to continue running because of problems accessing the network"

I have no network set up and run this program with XP on a 6 month old Dell 4100. I tried re-installing the computer but to no avail. Any suggestions?

P.S. I tried Dell support and they want to charge me $30 to tell me how to fix it even though the program only costs that much.

I have Microsoft Streets & Trips, and have not had any problems from day one. However, Microsoft Streets & Trips, do have a newsgroup that may help out.
