Does FHA require fence? Part of the fence in the rear yard is missing a fence with adjacent neighbor. Don't know if this is a problem with FHA or I note it in other comment section.

Not recently but I don't recall issue with fence. FHA is mainly for safety and missing fence is not dangerous unless there's a pitbull next door.

Of course its required. It's right there in the manual, "Good fences make good neighbors." Are you really an appraiser? Are you really Fernando?

I'm from old school in which value is more important than minor details.

When I was four growing up in the barrio, I think I ate some pink peeling paint. I don't remember much from four but I have this image of eating the flaking paint and it tasted not bad. I think the lead paint affected my brain. FHA has a point in not allowing flaking paint inside the house.

Download the 4000.1 and read form it every day. Our stuff starts mostly at about page 400 or so. Read it for 15 minutes a day. Every time you see an FHA question on the forum open up the 4000.1 and use the word search to see if you can find the answer.

Don't wing it.
