Talk around the gym this past month has been about Brock Lesnar entering the UFC. He's going up against Frank Mir, former heavyweight champion of the UFC. Brock is a collegiate wrestling champion, which is obviously a big help. He is training in the Militich fighting camp, which is a bigger help. But, Frank Mir has the obvious edge with actual competitive fight time. He snapped Tim Sylvias arm in a match last year. It should be a good fight card. Yahoo! Sports has more info about the fight here.

If you are into competitive fighting, this should be an excellent PPV.

Brock did just fine, and then got caught. If he continues to improve his stand up, and gets a better Jiu-Jitsu coach, he will be formidable.

Uriah Faber (The Califirnia Kid) is the one who will rule the octagon.

I also like the intensity and pace of the World Combat League.

Agreed, I love watching that kid fight. It looks as if he comes up with new moves on the fly.
