In today's news:

Pechanga Indian casino to lose 10% or its workforce, approx 400 jobs.

Ontario International Airport volume expected to decline by more than 30% within a year.

Apartment rents in the Inland Empire stabalizing although it had been predicted that individuals who have been foreclosed upon would buffet the rental market.

It doesn't seem possible that real estate markets can stabilize anytime soon, if ever. Gas prices now preclude what historically has been the daily round-trip commute of 100+ miles from the I.E. to the Orange/LA labor markets. Looks like the Republican Party has decide to end the Iraq conflict--prematurely if necessary--to take votes from Obama. Major legislation about to pass that will decrease the outstanding loan amount of existing mortgages to current market value--if lenders decide voluntary to do so...will appraisals be needed?
