From the West Central Association Board of Realtors director:

The Muskegon County Prosecutor says the shooting of a man in a Roosevelt Park realty office is being investigated as a homicide. Prosecutor Tony Tague says the shooting happened around 8:00 a.m. at the Nexes Realty office in the 800 block of Broadway. Tague says the 73-year-old suspect went to the office, asking to speak with the realtor. He says the men went into a conference room. That's when, according to the prosecutor, the suspect pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the face. Tague says the suspect then went to the home of a family member on Lief St. in Norton Shores and turned his handgun over to the relative. The family member called 911 and police arrived to take the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect's relatives tell WZZM 13 News he "was ripped off" on the sale of a home and purchase of another in the last two years. They say the suspect suffers from depression. for more go to Jon Mills Reporting - www.wzzm13.com

Be careful out there folks!

Happened Tuesday morning.

The realtor/victim (Troy VanderStelt) has a wife and 4 kids at home. Very, very sad indeed.
