It's easy to complain when something doesn't work well and forget when they do. I thought I would mention a positive product experience.

I purchased my Disto "Classic" sometime in 2003. Can't remember what I paid but I'd bet it was somewhere around $500 or $600. This brick of technology is still going strong even after being dropped several times. It's nice when a piece of technology works for this length of time. I'm sure the new ones have lots of fancy options but I just need to point and shoot.

The only reason I upgraded years ago to the D5 was it fit in my pocket and was easier to handle. I keep the "Brick" just as a backup. It still works fine and is still accurate. To tell the truth, I miss the viewfinder.
