Just on a side note, I posted in the "Looking for jobs" topic as well, but that is because, I thought perhaps, sombody who is hiring would know the answer to my questions. Thanks again.
Hello, I am curious because I have heard of several realtors "hanging licenses" within real estate offices, and then they end up working at home or poolside
P) or wherever; however, It is rare that I hear of an appraiser doing it. I have six years of appraisal experience, I am currently a State-Cert.Res.REA, I am FHA approved, carry E & O Insurance, and have appraisal experience in St. Johns County, Flagler County, Putnam County, and Duval County. I have a home office currently set up for work and school, and I also have most of the required appraisal software/databases needed; furthermore, I have several clients that I brought in to the last company I worked for - Those are the only clients I will be contacting, regarding my recent change in office location.
I would not mind having a job in a particular office; however, I would prefer to work predominately from home. I would be utilizing my own space, and not the office space; I would be bringing in my own clients, so I would not be taking away from their "workload", in contrast, I would probably be adding to the "work load" because I am in school as well, and I would not be able to complete all of the orders I receive. I am a friendly person, I work well with people, and get along with practically everyone, so unless there are legal issues involved, I am just curious if this is typical, or if it can be done? If so I would be more than interested in employment from anyone who has a business, and needs a few hundred extra dollars a week for pretty much doing nothing. Of course the fee split would be higher in my favor due to the fact that I would be utilizing all of my resources; however, it would pretty much be easy money.
If anyone has input on this, or a reason why it is not feasible, please inform me. If it is feasible, and office owners out there are interested, feel free to email me at coreygiza101@yahoo.com or call (904) 347-7271. Thanks in advance for any input, suggestions, or perhaps job offers

P.S. I also have a resume and other info in PDF format if interested. I will try to attach the resume to this post actually.
