ACI has just launched a forum on their web site. The forum provides an opportunity to ask ACI tech people questions, to make suggestions, to report apparent bugs and to communicate with ACI staff about anything else that you would like to discuss.

Check it out at : http://www.aciweb.com/forums/

Thanks Dave.

Guess my first comment will be my concern that I had to find out about this feature from you rather than ACI !!!

Nevertheless, it's my contention that any organization that actively elicits feedback from its stakeholders, internal and external alike, inevitably improves itself.

ZZ:

ACI only went on line with the forum yesterday. George Opelke clued me in about the forum this morning and I passed in on here ASAP. I just beat ACI in announcing it here in the interest of keeping this forum as helpful as possible.

I don't view the ACI forum as replacing this forum. To me it is simply an additional resource available to ACI users. It provides direct access to the people at ACI while this forum provides us access to other appraisers using the ACI products.

ZZ,

Thanks for the reply and the comments. The formal announcement is forthcoming. We performed a soft launch of the entire ACI site yesterday (The ACI Forum is a component of an entirely new ACI website).

I encourage you to visit us at www.aciweb.com.

Thank you.

George Opelka, ACI

Everybody is always helpful at ACI.

Once when I was trainee and having technical problem-after-problem-after-problem I called ACI approx 8 p.m. eastern time on a Friday night.

Tech support answered the phone and said he stayed late because he knew that I personally always had a problem after the ACI office closed every Friday afternoon, so he was sticking around waiting for me to call from my CA office!!!!

Cool we can all get together and ask for a new ACI Mobile version. I want an inventory taker that will let me select off of drop down menus while at the subject then import to my 1004 form back at the office. For example Roof Cover 1)Comp 2)Shake 3)Tile A)New B)Excellent C)Good D)Ave E)Fair F)Poor; I select 1 & D in the field then when I sync it fills Comp/Ave in the form. If you really want to impress me let me upload my comps to the PDA then select and correct their inventory in the field.

PDAs are finally powerful enough so pick the OS you like Palm WinCE or whatever.

New ACI Website

I'd like to take this opportunity to invite the ACI users here to come visit our new website at www.aciweb.com. In addition to updated tech docs, 40 online video tutorials, feautured blogs from Rich Heyn, SRA and Andrew Priestap, there is an online forum for you to post comments and questions to other ACI users as well as members of our staff.

In order to join the forum, please visit http://www.aciweb.com/forums/ and click on the Join Now link. You'll need your ACI Client Code and Company Name in order to register. You can find this by opening up ACI Report and clicking on Help.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Thank you.
