How would an appraisal office best advertise for a trainee or a state certified appraiser? Marion, Lake, Sumter, Levy, Citrus and Alachua Counties. We have three appraisers and an office manager.

Look here in Forums for "Jobs Board". Post there.

I had a place off Mason Creek in Citrus County and don't recall a problem getting an appraiser in the past, but last year I needed an appraisal of one in Levy County and could not even get a reply from three appraisers, who were recommended by two forum members. Have you added your company to the AppraiserUSA directory, affiliated with this site? That is a good place to be listed. (See top of this page.)

If you are a residential shop, you'll probably just have to go to Indeed or whatever. If you want commercial appraisals, the main AI site and your local AI chapter are the place to go.
