State law prohibits more than 3 members being members of same appraisal organization. This makes 3 AI members.

Are ALL the appointees in Raleigh General Certified appraisers? Every time I see their credentials, it seems to me they are always Generals...Isn't this just like the career politician syndrome in Washington DC (so much for "citizen servants")? I say we need to get some plain old, blue collar Residential guys in the mix for a while, not *just* Generals that prior to their board appointments were likely just collecting fee splits and playing golf (and contributing to the Governor, of course...).

It isn't like the Generals are any less likely to be "bad" appraisers than us Residential guys either...I know several whose favorite joke is that any cap rate will do as long as it is 10%.
