Wayne,

I'm still having trouble with the new post bells. Seems that as soon as I click on the first new post and read it, all the new post bells dissapear and I don't know where the new posts are.

Also, once I open a thread, is there any way to mark which post is new within that thread?

I do like this new format. Just a higher leaning curve.

Sorry I missed this earlier.

Here's one way to do it:

When you first come to the forum if you will click on "read all new posts since your last visit" you will get a list of them, regardless of the forum they are in.

Here's another way:

The forums that have a new post will have a darker bell. When you open those forums the responses you haven't read will have a dark "sheet of paper" icon.

At least I think that's the way it goes. I will pay more attention in the morning when I first come to the forum.

Wayne,

I have noticed that the thread title changes from a light blue to an even lighter blue after you enter a thread. is there a way to have it change to a more contrasting color? :?:

also...in the old forum we could increase the font size of posts using the View menue in IE, now, unless someone changes it while posting, the reader has no control. Any work around on that issue?

I like the new format...thanks for the hard work! :D :D :D

It changes to a lighter color to alert you that you have read some of that thread before. I will look into the colors, however I don't want to start changing them just yet because I think they blend so well together and the forum has a lot of eye appeal.

The font used is a little larger than the font used on the old board, so you shouldn't have a problem unless you have a small monitor. I am reading on a lap top with about a 13 inch screen and no problems. I really don't know what to do about this rather than make it larger and it would really be too large for most people. What size monitor do you use?

Thank You for your support!

Wayne,

I'm almost embarassed  to say; I use a 19'' monitor on 800x600. Guess it is time for an eye exam :!:

Can you adjust the contrast or brightness on your monitor to give more contrast to the text? This may help you read it better.

Daniel; some TV's have the ability to link your computer to it-perhaps a 52" screen will help (vision enhancement tool); LOL
