A few days ago, I asked a LO if I could perform appraisal work for her company. I had never worked for her company before. Her response was to ask if I was hiring. She then stated she would send her business to whomever hired her boyfriend as a Trainee.

Appears competence isn't the only criteria when searching for a mentor. Shag'ging an LO appears to be another method to get your foot in the door.

After thinking about it, I was tempted to call her back, hire her boyfriend and have him memorize USPAP for the first 6 months.

bueno suerto.
