Hey, there,

I finished my Trainee License in December and I'm looking to build up my hours. Hello everybody!

Hey,
Before you invest any more of your time I suggest you read through as much of this site as you can. You need to know what you are getting into. 20 years ago this was a decent profession. The only reason I am writing this is because I have no work and have spent the past few weeks unsuccessfully looking for other clients. This was a job that was lucrative but not anymore. If you have a degree I would seriously look into something else. Not trying to be a downer but proceed with your eyes wide open.

You want a certified appraiser to build your hours so you can get certified then rip her clients?

Not everyone is out to get everyone else.

I'd be glad to help, but hours in my State would be useless, and, beside that the op might want to be paid.

Easy Greg. Put the gun down. We all had to start somewhere. He/she was just saying hello.

There's a subforum for trainees with a lot of good information in it. Even the info that is dated is still mostly relevant. So don't be shy about spending some time perusing a couple hundred of those threads. Having done that, if you have any questions that pop up then come on over to one of the other subforums to ask.

You bring the salt and I'll bring the lime and taquilla. I'm not interested in stealing anything from anyone. I am interested in real world experience and a path to the non-clownshoes license.

This is the wrong way to try to get in the profession.
What would be the correct way? I'm looking to learn, Greg. Getting a foothold into anything new can be tricky and I've unwittingly stepped on your raw nerve. I'm sorry my blunt word choice offended you. I'm looking for experiece from people willing to help.
