From what I've seen on the FLIP shows, something like that, in your part of the country would be worth $250,000+ :Eyecrazy:

I don't know about in the middle of the city... but for a bachelor pad or "Man's Barn" on 200 acres in the middle of nowhere, that would be the perfect "get away" place. Well, except for all the pretty landscaping. Brush killer is the only lawn care one needs for the Man's Barn.

OK, now imagine that home, bigger & half covered in dirt. It is For Sale By Owner west of where I live. Every time I go by it, I shudder at the prospect of appraising that whacked out P.O.S.

This property in Encinitas, CA has actually sold a couple of times in recent years. There is a 4-unit building in back, and the two boat apartments in front.
