Norton's Anti-Virus program came on my computer, and I really do have confidence in that it's doing it's job. But after 4 months, it ran out and I had to update for new viruses, for $9, which is cheap enough. Do any of you have problems updating this? I contacted Norton on the web and they gave me a new subscription # and had me click on a site which sent me in to their question group where one must post the question regarding updating. Then I have to wait a day for an answer. If their suggestion doesn't work, I must post another question, and so on. There are literally hundreds of messages in there from confused people like myself. Surely there's a more simple way. Tell me what it is, PLEASE. I'm ready to delete the whole program and get McAlfee. My problem is when I click update, it does just that and says Norton is up to date. Then when I back out of that page it says my subscription has expired and it's in red indicating it needs immediate attention. This thing is driving me nuts :?
