Forgetting the 'spin' from the press release, perusal of the raw numbers appears to be a continuation of the disaster .. look at 2006 versus 2007 then 2008 numbers ..

Long Island (N-S-Q) appears to be stabilizing 4/08 to 5/08 which is my impression for the middle market with a significant increase in sales/pendings over the last few months as well as a reduction in available inventory. The lower & upper ends of the market are not doing as well IMO...
