Over the weekend I cleaned up the guts of the puter. You clean out and deleated a lot of junk. Moved Appraisal files to storage drives, Tune up everything with Norton (Don't tell me How bad Norton is). Did the disk doctor thing, Defraged all the good stuff.

Now all my HP5600 does is set on the table, every time I go to print, the putter prints to Adobe. Some how it got set as the default and I can figure out how to sit the putter back to the HP.

I walk out to the shop for a bit, picked up my four pound rounding hammer for shaping horse shoes. Brought it back into the office and told the puter if it didn't re-correct its self, I am going beat it into little pieces, steal it gold and send it to the dump. It is just sitting here looking at me.:angry:

Any clues how to reset this thing to default for the HP????:fiddle:

you probably know this, however did you try

open control panel
double left click on the printer icon
several/numerous printer options listed depending on your user history
left click gently on the desired hardware.
right click to open the drop down dialogue box
right click on "set as default printer"

p.s. If that fails pls give it a lick with the hammer for me...

1. Take the PC outside and set it agin the hillside.

2. Grab your Winchester Model 12 and put two shells of .00 buck in it.

3. Aim at the contraption and pull the trigger.

4. Slide the pump on the Winchester

5. Repeat step 3.

Don't forget to videotape the euthanization process.

OR:

Left Click on START in your task bar, lower left;
Left Click or Hover Mouse on Settings;
Left Click on Printers and Faxes in the resulting drop down menu;
Right Click on the printer in the list you want as default;
Left Click on "Set as Default Printer" in the drop down menu

Post #2 & #4 can get the job done, but #3 would be the most entertaining. :rof:

Joker,

I teased the puter with your idea, brought the 12 ga out of the gun case and three shells. Show the puter I was loading the shotgun and told it what I planed to do.

It started spitting out printed MLS Stats. Good 12 ga. will always get the job done.

Thanks everyone for you help. It working for the time being. Just can't figure out why it started doing what it was doing.

Got to have some female DNA some where in it. You just never know what they are going to do, where thye are going to do it, why they do it and how they do it. The nature of the beast I guess. :peace: Ladies. Guess I been around horses and puters to long now.
