Let me guess: The "best" systems have socialized healthcare.

it gets better

the study focused on interviews with physicians and patients in
Australia,
Britain,
Canada,
Germany,
New Zealand
and the United States who were asked to speak about their experiences and views on their health systems.

The US ranked last in most areas, including access to health care, patient safety, timeliness of care, efficiency and equity. Americans were also last in terms of whether they had a regular physician.
“The US spends twice what the average industrialized country spends on health care but we’re clearly not getting value for the money,” Davis told AFP.

Sean,

If you are so upset, move to one of the "better" countries. You'll quickly find that you no longer have any disposable income as you will be taxed to death to pay for your "free" social programs.

People need to quit whining and get real about health care. If we purchased cars like we purchase health care, everyone would want to make the payment on a Yugo but get to drive a Bentley.

If you are so unhappy about your $450 per month health plan, choose a different one.

Yeah, just wait til it's free. Then things will be so much better.

The foolish notion that everyone somehow can live, at the expense of everyone else...

There are more people in the wagon than are pulling the wagon....

From each according to his own abilities, to each according to his own needs?

You pay 450 a month for the worst INSURANCE SYSTEM in the world, maybe, but not the worst healthcare system.

The insurance companies have halfway did what the government will do, which is to take away ALL financial incentive to the healthcare industry.

With no incentive for all these "greedy" doctors, then what?

Just go ahead and replace them all with Pakistanis? How is their healthcare ranked?

a]Agree with you head line''it gets better.'',Sean
b] Also agree with your first headline ''outrageous''

c]And using the ''logic'' of ABC/mainstream media; the car care system is dependent on your car insurance. That is outrageous.

Hint ,lot of it has to do with exercise, junk eaten=junk health.
