Outside the box appraisal business

Been thinking about how to expand the business by offering something different. Anyone ever heard of an appraiser subscription service? Something like having an appraiser on retainer. Any real estate questions that arise during the year? What to know what the home sold for down the street? Want help dropping PMI or assistance with the county tax assessor? Want an annual evaluation? You know, stuff like that. Some high end homeowner's may be interested. I welcome any comments, pros and cons or any other ideas. I also have a motorhome and race car and thinking about appraisals on those for insurance purposes, etc. I just ain't one to sit back and wait on the orders......Thanks !

Some appraisers have branched out to measuring houses and providing a sketch to real estate agents for new listings.

That isn't new. I was doing this back in 1993-4 when the last refi boom burst and there were far too many appraisers chasing too few assignments. In my area, there are firms that do this exclusively, complete with photos and virtual tours; all for a rather low price.
