Do you fear your state appraisal board if they request to review all your appraisal files? The complete file from the time you get the order to the day the report is completed and invoice attached.

My state is a joke. The one I did send them was fraud and they did nothing. I showed it to a couple appraiser on AF and they agreed with my assesment. I have lost faith in my board.

I fear the state. I fear when they'll come demand
my DNA as part of homeland security and I'll be
charge with a unsolved crime because they matched
it with a hair at a crime scene....I've been in a lot of
houses. I'm sure all those on the board with express
a little concern, but then say, we'll they did find a
link to Elliott. "Would you like a drink of water?" the
HO asks, "No thank you."

I fear them because I would be so irritated I might say something nasty and then be harassed from then on just as Ray is.

You don't know how close to right you may be. Really think about it. Look at the number of men and women who are locked up for crimes the did not do. Look at the number that has been released.

It can work the other way as well. Can we say Planted

It isn't way I say or do that I worry about, it is how it gets interpretted.

Ray,
The stat this week that floored me was that Amerika broke the
100 barrier....1 in 99 Americans are currently in prison according
to ABC Nightly News. I'd break it down by race, but I'd be
accused of being racist.

If an appraisal board is requesting "all files" they are undoubtedly on a fishing expedition. Odds are they can find something, somewhere that could have been done better. If they are out to get you, they will get you.

Fear is probably a bit too strong of a word. After all they only have jurisdiction over my appraisal license. There are many jobs out there, many other businesses to choose to operate. Fear for my license, yes; but a general sense of fear, no.
