I'm moving to a new office space and plan on updating my 4 yr old phones. I currently have a Siemens 2420 with three satelite stations - it a so-so system. I was thinking of going with at&t 955 4-line phones. Anybody have any comments or suggestions?

You might look at the meridian systems. We picked up a used one for about 400. Works well for us and can carry up to 12 lines. Does not have all the bells and whistles though like call waiting, call forwarding, caller ID, or voice mail. Those came with the later models. We also considered some of the newer systems with all those features and ran about 1200 to 2000 plus. If it were me I would stick to the old system till it gives up the ghost. If you really must have a new system contact a local phone system provider to see what they have and carry.
