Polaroid Digital-What Is The Status?

on a February 26th press release. Why isn't Polaroid telling us more?

"Burnaby, British Columbia - Appareo Software Inc. ("Appareo" or the "Company") announces that the members of its Board of Directors as at its annual general meeting held on Friday, February 22, 2002 are: Stuart McNeill, Tryon "Tarrnie" Williams, Ralston "Raleigh" Coffin, Karel Vanturennout, Robert Scragg, Jeffrey Davidson and Gary Segal. Messrs. Scragg, Davidson and Segal are representatives of the parties financing the Company's purchase of the assets and contracts (excluding cash and accounts receivable) of Polaroid Digital Solutions, Inc. ("PDSI"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaroid Corporation ("Polaroid").

Appareo intends to use PDSI?s solid reputation and market share in the appraisal industry to market the Appareo DM Wise document management product. Appareo believes that there is substantial synergy created by the vertical integration of PDSI?s products with Appareo?s recently released products."

I tried to open the above site, but to no avail... any helpful hints, would be appreciated!!

I am a current user of MCS (now Polaroid) and that does make me mad :x , that they (Polaroid) would not even put something on their website stating that they have a 'Buyer' for the software end...

It's snowing here right now--they have 10+ Inches in Omaha (145 Miles Southeast)--it's so-o cold here. Only 7 Degrees...

I left off the p. Seems to make all the difference in the world.

Also, no reason to be upset with Polaroind/ACI/MCS. They have been trying to sell the company, since bankruptcy.

What surprised me was the Appareo press release saying they have purchased it, but no response from Polaroid. That is why I asked if anyone had heard anything.
