appraisers can use.

http://www.terrafly.fiu.edu/ is a site where you plug in an address and you get an aerial view of the area. For residential folk, it most likely is only a toy, but for commercial appraisers it could be a nice add-in if you can figure out how to print screen.

p.s. credit for finding this is owed to my father-in-law.

you can go to http://www.mapquest.com and put in an address and it will give you a map of the address. Then click the "aerial photo" tab and it will give you an aerial photo of the address. In color, pretty fast, and free.

the mapquest thing is really cool. I ended up spending 2-3 hours or so playing with it. the cool thing is you can switch back and forth betwen maps and photos, so you can find what you're looking for, or figure out (maybe) what you're looking at in that photo. :D
