Is there any CYA verbage to use when the FHA Subject is located near an airport?

Is the proximity to the airport such that your front, rear or street photos might show an airliner's approach to landing or ascending after take-off ? A well-timed picture may support your CYA text.

Depending on the type of airport, you can obtain and submit a copy of the FAR Ldn Contours map showing the property in perspective. Unless this airport has ongoing issues regarding noise or moving properties for expansion, your issues are probably fairly simple and straightforward.

Another factor is whether the airport is a feeder airport or a commercial airport. The above applies mostly to commercial airports.

If you are totally unfamiliar with how to handle it, first call the airport and ask them if they have a FAR map they can send you. The FAR map shows the noise boundaries with their decibel level for noise down to 60 decibels.

I can find no info. to tell me if the subject is in a runway clear zone. Airport is slow returning calls. I was wondering. Since the property is under construction, I do not need the V.C. sheets. Therefore is the Runway clear zone irrelevant(sp.)?
