Besides REIN, what are some of the best data sources for verified sales, property information, ect. for the Hampton Roads and Richmond Area? Residential data is what I am interested in.

Also, does a Real Estate Sales license get you a better rate on REIN data or just a Broker License?

Thank you.

George

Hey George. Hope all is well.

The Real Estate weekly in the Saturday edition of the Pilot is a good source. I scan each city and scratch down the unique sales such as oceanfront sales, riverfront sales, etc. that may actually be a land/lot sale. I can't get enough land and/or lot sales.

I am not sure about the REIN bill. My boss who does have a sales license handles the bills but I can check. I want to say yes it will get you a better rate.

Any More Sources

Any more sources besides REIN for Hampton Roads?? I CA I was able to use local MLS and I used Dataquick to confirm sales data and pull parcel maps. What are some of the verification sources for sales?? Do most people use the local city assessor's websites for confirming sales data or is there a national data provider which has decent on-line data for Virginia??

Sorry for these basic questions, but I have been working for a lender in another capacity since I moved here and I haven't actually done any field work since the move.

Thanks again.
