Where do you find the rules, standards for Trainee's working for you?

Should a Trainee have past there State and Federal Test before putting them to work?

Check with you state board. Here in WA there is no trainie license currently within the next two years there will be though.

Each state is different. The bottom line is that you are liable for any work done by the trainee. Just remember that. As to how the hours are counted, etc., evey state is different.

My policy is that trainees must be registered appraisers. No shortage of them here, I could hire 15 or 20 every class I teach. I personally prefer one on one so I do one at a time.
