There was an interesting article on this board about a month ago about Sears Kit Homes. Some one posted a site showing the catalog of these homes from about 1910 up to the 1940’s. Do a search and look at the catalog of Sears Kit Homes and watch the evolution in size, quality, design, etc, over the years. It goes from mansions to small cottages from 1910 to 1940, but the price stays about the same. I think this is basically what Greenspan is saying or implying.
