In Oregon, there was a board secretary who embezzled for years. Took years to prosecute her, but eventually she plead guilty and was required to pay restitution. And what was even stranger, there were board members who kept supporting her. It took a three realtors to hire an attorney for $25K to go after her, then the DA finally followed.

Monopolistic boards of realtors should be abolished with their alleged 'code of ethics', what a f'n joke. Only slightly more of a farce than USPAP.
