Job Description
The Staff Reviewer’s primary objective is to provide consistent high quality desk reviews and help the Quality team meet departmental Service Level Agreements.
• consistently produce the best quality report available under the constraints of time and available data
• produce reports that meet applicable industry, Pro-Teck, FNMA and USPAP guidelines
• review Appraisal and BPO valuation reports
• provide desktop and reconciliation services
• provide vendors with feedback on quality issues
• meet or exceed minimum production and quality expectations
• maintain state license or certification
• assist the Quality Control Manager in any additional responsibilities that may arise
Skills
Valuation Knowledge – Understands basic valuation concepts and practices as they apply to residential properties. This includes, but is not limited to: Acceptable condition descriptors, recent sales comparison, recent listing comparison, bracketing, neighborhood value ranges, problem properties, health & safety violations. Working knowledge of FNMA Guidelines, USPAP.
Oral and Written Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens well, obtains clarification when necessary, and responds appropriately to questions. Writes clearly and informatively, and edits work for correct spelling and grammar.
Interpersonal Skills - Listens to others without interrupting, and remains open to others’ ideas. Focuses on solving conflict, rather than placing blame, and maintains emotional control.
Professionalism and Ethics - Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Follows through on commitments, and works ethically and with integrity. Works well under pressure and maintains a positive attitude.
