This has been going on longer than the HVCC (the bill is dated 12/07) with not nearly the drama the Fannie deal has generated. I guess as long as the "personal relationships" some appraisers and mortgage brokers value so much isn't harmed hardley anyone cares. No petitions, no mass e-mails, no great rush to start AMCs in response to this mess.

Do they require the same bond be posted by Mortgage Brokers??

How 'bout Realtors??

Folks from these 2 categories have done more damage than the worst appraisers!!
