I think it has something to do with USDA Rural Development. Google "sdh recd loan" with no hyphen.

Single Family Detached Housing - Rural Economic Development Loan.

Often called RD's. Used to be called Farmers Home Loan (FmHA). A type of very low down loan for designated rural properties guaranteed by the US Dept of Agriculture.

There are some very special things that you have to check for an certify that you've seen an approved when you sign these reports. Most software packages have the RD Certification but if they don't your lender will have it and you will have to type it in on the addendum.

Make sure you know what you are going to check for before doing the inspection. And make sure you know what a rim joist is because you will be inspecting it for insulation.
