When my daughter was in college, she would go to thrift stores with her friends and buy these used clothing. Ugh.
She could afford new but seems like the young people these days believed in being environmentally resourceful and wear the old clothes again. Ugh.

Roughly 45 years ago, the surf crew that I hung out with would go to this local used clothing store and buy bowling shirts.

They were camp shirts that buttoned up with a collar and they had "Hank" or "Phil" embroidered over the front pocket. The backs had these really cool graphics of bowling pins exploding or bowling lanes with the team name (Hammer Time! / The Strikers / Rolling Aces) over the graphics. They were really well made! Full on mid-century modern.

We would show up to the local parties and the girls would go "why are you guys wearing bowling shirts?"
