Got a call a few minutes ago from an appraisal company in N.Jersey.

Do I do work in NJ? ( No, not licensed there )
Do I need a partner for jobs in NJ? ( .....Why Would I? )
"Our turnaround time is 48 hrs; Mine is 24 hrs; All orders are comp checked"

........Sheesh..........

Nope..
Area code 973 -- which he said was Bergen, but that doesn't "compute" per Verizon.

I would take Salem/Gloucester or Camden counties... and I don't care what he charges the client... as long as I get my full fee... :icon_mrgreen:

973 area code

973 can be south bergen county. Any idea what the name was or maybe you don't want to say?

I get those calls too. The problem is, I'd rather they be gone. I'm looking for a bright college kid who knows computers inside and out, and wants to learn how to do real estate the right way. The right way takes longer, but the rewards are better for a longer period of time. :)

ED... I think 5% is excessive -- considering the quality I'd expect.

(( Humm wonder if the AMC phone monkeys make 5% of what they shave off appraiser fees ))
