Had a great client of mine ask me to "transfer" an appraisal to another mortgage company who could do the loan. After successfully going through the process of educating both lenders that appraisals cannot be transferred and got the proper permissions and did a new appraisal file and report for the second lender, they came back and asked me for the SSR forms, the UCDP Submission Summary Report. I told them that I have never provided them to any of my clients because that is done on the underwriting end. They claim that the appraisers provide it for them.

Anyone provide these to the mortgage lender? If so, how do I go about doing it?
Thanks.

Only a lender or a lender's designated representative can submit to the UCDP. It is totally inappropriate to ask an appraiser to provide that.

I thought so.
